Joglo Hati features two bright wooden houses, each including a bedroom, a bathroom, and large windows that capture sunrise and sunset views, plus a charming veranda overlooking the rice fields with the volcanoes in the background - a lovely place to spend time. The open-plan living and dining area in a separate, beautifully designed building flows seamlessly into a lush tropical garden through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Upstairs, you will find a so-called “Bale”, shaded by a beautiful bamboo roof, where four bean bags are waiting for you to enjoy the stunning surroundings all around Joglo Hati. You will never forget the stunning sunrises and sunsets we get there. Enjoy your own private swimming pool with sun loungers, an outdoor shower, and a shaded veranda overlooking the rice fields. We will be happy to provide you with daily breakfast at the villa, freshly prepared, at a small extra charge. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, gas stove, Nespresso machine, blender, toaster, and everything else needed for comfortable long stays. A small welcome pack with fruit and coffee is ready on arrival. Just a short drive away, the bustling town of Ubud awaits with its array of attractions, including the Ubud Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, and vibrant Ubud Market, just to name a few. The area is also known for its wellness offerings, with numerous yoga studios, spas, and holistic centres available for relaxation and rejuvenation. Joglo Hati is perfectly located for exploring Bali: 🛵 15 minutes to Ubud 🛵 30 minutes to Sanur 🛵 45 minutes to Seminyak Always depending on Bali traffic, of course 😅 We recommend renting a scooter - but if that’s not your preference, you can easily rely on services like Gojek or Grab, which not only offer convenient transport by scooter or car, but also deliver a wide range of meals right to your door. Joglo Hati is ideal for couples, remote workers, or small families seeking a private pool villa near Ubud, with authentic Balinese surroundings and all modern comforts.

Other Details to Note

We can’t have the rice fields all year round. Depending on the weather, water supply, and many other factors, rice is grown a maximum of three times a year. In between, there may be a month or two without any. But rest assured – even the empty fields can be incredibly beautiful. And who knows, you might be lucky enough to witness the planting or the harvest. *** Our pool attendant, Kadek, visits twice a week – it’s essential to provide him access so he can keep the pool looking beautiful. *** Two dogs, Suma and Mila, live at the neighbors place and are the perfect guards for Joglo Hati. They’ll definitely bark when you arrive – but don’t worry, they’re not dangerous at all and are the sweetest dogs once you get to know them a little better (they love treats, by the way). *** Parking for two scooters is available in front of Joglo Hati. Unfortunately, there’s no car parking directly at the property, but there’s space to park along the street leading to it. *** We’re happy to organise an airport transfer with our driver, Dewak, who also offer beautiful, entertaining, and exciting day trips.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: The regular check-in time is from 3 pm to 10 pm. We also have a safe lock for the key for late arrivals and in case of delays, but we MUST know your approximate arrival time so that we can prepare everything accordingly. We’ll send you a reminder three days before your arrival.

The most beautiful experience for my birthday, they went above and beyond in every department. They even gave us free breakfast for our whole stay and they were so so kind. While I was out they came in and decorated my bed with petals and roses for my birthday, this made my whole week! We felt at home and would genuinely love to come back again. We have now stayed here for the third time and will definitely return. The peace and beauty are simply unmatched. At Joglo Hati you find yourself right in the heart of Bali, in a truly special place. You can feel the love that Liong and his team put into this little paradise day after day in every corner. Whatever you may need, Liong always does his very best to make every wish possible. That is exactly what makes this place so special: it really feels like a second home. Since my first visit, Lodtunduh has also developed very positively. In recent years, many restaurants, cafés and spas have opened, so you no longer need to go to Ubud every day to experience something. A scooter is still recommended, as it offers more flexibility and independence, you can organise it through Liong. But even for those who prefer not to drive themselves, that is not a problem at all – with Grab or Gojek, you can comfortably get anywhere. I can truly say that we have found our second home in Lodtunduh ❤️

Our stay at Joglo Hati was wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos, with lovely details in every room and amazing views from all areas. The rice fields surrounding the property create a calm, relaxing environment. It’s the perfect place to slow down and simply enjoy all that beauty you are surrounded by. Staying at Joglo Hati was maybe the most beautiful and unforgettable experience of our trip to Bali. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - not just as guests, but as family. The villa is stunning: surrounded by rice fields, incredibly peaceful, and beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. Everywhere you look, the views are breathtaking. One of the highlights of every day was breakfast. Freshly and lovingly prepared by Dede, always with a big smile - he took such wonderful care of us. The villa was spotless, the beautiful garden perfectly maintained, and every little wish was fulfilled. Liong is an outstanding host - always responsive, kind, and helpful, whether it was organising scooters, a driver, tips for exploring Bali, or anything else we needed.
